No. 6:48 Strong is a commitment to be strong disciples who build strong churches who will strongly impact our community to embrace the life-changing truth of Jesus. There is a financial component to 6:48 Strong to fulfill our financial promises, but the primary focus of 6:48 is to build strong disciples in Christ.

The 6:48 Strong commitment is a decision to truly follow Jesus, by building our faith by digging deep into all aspects of discipleship and laying the foundation of our live truly on Jesus Christ. It is based on the words of Jesus recorded in Luke 6:46-48. The 6:48 Pledge is a starting point for that commitment. At Anastasia we believe that the closer we follow Jesus, the stronger and more fulfilling our lives will become.

6:48 Strong Future are additional funds dedicated to capital improvements, both present and future. Contributions at the Island Campus 6:48 STRONG Future fund are used to reach the goal and finish payment on the Rec Center and Next Gen Center. In 2022 Anastasia embarked on an ambitious project to build the Rec Center (a muti-use gym facility) and the Next Gen Center (an up-to-date secure ministry space for preschoolers, children, youth and college age ministry). The church was able to raise more than 50% of the $16.7 million for the building before completion. We want to raise the remaining $7.5 million so that the church will be in a strong financial position and be able to provide strong and well-funded ministry to reach our community.

This is the main way to financially support our ministry. In it we provide ministry at all our locations, provide for missions and provide for a portion of our current capital projects.

These are additional funds that are dedicated specifically for missions. They are deposited into our Acts 1:8 Missions process.
